Enjoying a peaceful moment, somewhere in British Columbia.

Born and raised in South Africa, I developed a love of nature and the wilderness at an early age. Today, I am honoured to live and work on the unceded, ancestral, traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations where I continue to seek and document rare moments from this wild and fragile world.

I look to nature as a way of connecting with my early instincts for exploration and adventure.  The west coast has an abundance of diverse eco-systems filled with fascinating fauna and flora. From old-growth rainforests and rugged alpine terrain to picturesque coastlines and urban forests. This part of the world is a special place for all those who call it home. Photography allows me to share the elusive species that inhabit these lands, while advocating for the conservation of their sensitive habitats.
